Tubeway Armies Arm Warmers Charcoal Grey with Flowers

A perennial favorite, we've been making our 'two-of-a-kind' armies from recycled, felted 100% wool sweaters since 2006. Both smart and casual our arm warmers make a great green gift for all age groups from girls to grans!

We colour matched and embellish each pair with careful consideration, then machine sew them together on the inside for a neat finish, leaving a reinforced opening in the seam for thumb to go through.

This pair is cut from the finished edge of a charcoal grey jumper. Each hand is embellished with a row of flower shapes in greys. These are an average women's fit and measure 27 cm (10 1/2 inches) in length.

Tubeway Armies are part of the Body Parts range of winter accessories, a collaboration between me and my fellow stitcher Melanie Hill (Textile Allsorts).

Fairtrade or better business practices

This product was made by hand and using electricity from a sourced from wind energy. The water used in the felting process was recycled onto the garden. We have a minimal waste and packaging policy and use recycled materials wherever possible across our business.

Reborn

This product is reborn. It was made out of recycled / upcycled woollen jumpers and repurposed notions (buttons, buckles, thread).

Eco-friendly

Our armies are eco-friendly. They are made out of a sustainable durable material (wool). Using upcycled jumpers reduces waste and the notions used (buttons, buckles etc) can be recycled one more time when the arm warmers eventually wear out.

Supports local business

Our products are designed and created in Melbourne within 10km of where they will ship from.

Handmade

Our product are made individually, by hand. 3 of us are involved n the making process. Each item is one-of-a-kind matching different colours and designs and are either handstitched or machine stitched on domestic sewing machines.
