Vintage Handbag, Yellow Flower

A beautiful combination of yellow and orange flowers feature on the 'Yellow Flower' vintage handbag. Made from two saris re-stitched to create the perfect bag for nappy changing essentials.

The outside has yellow and orange flowers in lovely swirls on both sides. The sides feature a yellow, navy and white flower surrounded by a geometric print. The inside of the handbag is made from a different, but complimentary sari with a earthy green and orange flowers. The inside also has a pink and navy flower pattern on the sides. If you want to change your look you can turn the bag inside out to reveal the secondary sari pattern.

The sari's are purchased from a village in Bangladesh, washed and the tailors carefully select the combinations to create a unique product. No two bags are the same. All the sari's have been hand-stitched with white thread, creating a beautiful texture across the fabric.

Size
The vintage handbag measures 45cm wide by 41cm high. The shoulder strap height is 31cm. Each bag also comes with an extra pocket for storing keys or your mobile for hand access, the pocket is 9cm wide by 15cm high.

There's a building where all the work is done and there are huge rooms with piles of saris, fabrics and the most incredible treasure trove of textiles.

Reborn

The sari's are purchased from a village in Bangladesh, washed and the tailors carefully select the combinations to create a unique product. Thousands of sari's that are no longer used are bought from some of the remotest villages in Bangladesh and bought to Mukesh. They are then all washed and carefully selected to choose the best fabrics.
